How to get the best quote

Send the whole list at once
Even the small items. It is cheaper to add a five-minute job to an existing visit than to call us back for it.

Photos help but are not required
Where access or an exact part match is unclear, a photo saves a trip. We will never hold up your quote waiting for one.

Tell us what matters most
If part of the list is urgent and the rest is not, say so. We will prioritise rather than making it all-or-nothing.

Is there a minimum charge?
Yes, there is a minimum call-out. That is exactly why we encourage you to send the full list — the minimum covers a decent amount of work once we are there. See typical prices for common jobs.
Will you do really small jobs?
As part of a list, absolutely. A single five-minute job on its own rarely justifies the trip for either of us, and we would rather tell you that than overcharge for it.
What if you find something else while you are here?
We tell you and quote it. Nothing gets added to the invoice that you did not agree to first.
Do you do ongoing maintenance?
Yes. Several clients have us back on a regular basis, particularly property managers and owners of older homes. Ask when you enquire.
