Do you do electrical, plumbing or gas work?
No. Simon is not a licensed tradesperson, so electrical, plumbing, gas, asbestos, tree removal, major structural work and excavation are always referred to someone licensed. If one of those is on your list, we name it in the quote, tell you who to call, and price the rest.

Do you charge for a quote?
No. Quotes are free, written, and valid for seven days. There is no call-out fee to get one. Typical prices →

Do you need to visit before quoting?
Usually not. Most jobs are quoted from photos and a written description, which is what keeps quotes quick and the price down. If something turns up on the day that the photos did not show, you hear about it before the work is done, not on the invoice.

Will you take on one small job?
As part of a list, yes. A single five-minute job rarely justifies the trip on its own, and we would rather say so than overcharge for it. Send the whole list and it is quoted as one visit.

Which areas do you work in?
Perth's southern and western suburbs, based in Ardross: Applecross and Melville, South Perth and Como, Bull Creek and Willetton, Fremantle and surrounds, and the western suburbs. Outside that, send it through and you will get a straight answer.

How does payment work?
On acceptance we raise one invoice for the full amount including GST. The standard terms are a 40% deposit up front and the 60% balance on completion.

That is not a slogan, it is the actual operating rule. Plenty of trades will have a go at anything and sort it out later. We would rather tell you at the quote stage that a job needs a licensed plumber, electrician or builder, and point you at the right person, than take the work and leave you with a half-finished problem.
