Do you require a deposit?
Established agency relationships are generally exempt from the deposit that applies to one-off residential work. Agreed once at the start, not negotiated per job.
What's outside your scope?
Anything needing a licensed trade — electrical, plumbing, gas, asbestos, tree removal, major structural, excavation. Flagged immediately, never part-completed.
