What we assemble

01

Wardrobes and storage

Including sliding door systems, which are the ones that most often go wrong when self-assembled.

02

Beds and bed frames

Including gas-lift and storage bases.

03

Shelving and units

Bookcases, TV units and cabinets, anchored to the wall where they need to be.

04

Outdoor sheds

Flatpack sheds assembled and anchored to an existing slab.

05

Part-built rescues

The one that is half-assembled and now will not go together. It happens more than you would think.

Worth knowing

01

Anchoring matters

Tall furniture should be anchored, particularly with children in the house. We do it as standard unless you tell us not to.

02

Bring us the whole job

Assembly is cheap to add to another visit. If you have other jobs, quote them together.

03

We check the parts first

Missing or damaged parts are common. We identify them before starting rather than getting three-quarters through.

Common questions

Straight answers.

Do you take the packaging away?

We can, though bulky cardboard may attract a disposal cost. Say so when you enquire and we will include it in the quote.

What if parts are missing?

We will identify it early and assemble as far as we can. You will need to obtain the parts from the retailer, and we can return to finish.

Can you assemble something bought second-hand?

Usually, though without instructions and with parts potentially missing it can take longer. We will be upfront about that.

Do you anchor furniture to the wall?

Yes, as standard for anything tall enough to tip. We fix into studs or use appropriate anchors rather than relying on plasterboard plugs.
