Kitchen Repairs
& Alterations

Fixed. Not gutted.

Most kitchen problems do not need a new kitchen. Doors that will not close, hinges that have given up, drawers that slam, water-damaged cabinetry, and alterations to make an appliance fit.

Kitchen work we take on

01

Cabinet doors and hinges

Doors rehung and realigned, failed hinges replaced, soft-close mechanisms repaired or fitted.

Swollen or delaminated cabinet bases and panels, particularly under sinks and dishwashers.

05

Alterations for appliances

Cabinetry cut and adjusted so a new oven, dishwasher or fridge actually fits.

Common questions

Straight answers.

Can you replace just the cabinet doors?

Often yes, if the carcasses are sound. It is a fraction of the cost of a new kitchen and makes a substantial difference. Matching to existing carcasses needs checking first.

My dishwasher does not fit the gap. Can you alter it?

Usually. Cabinetry can often be cut and adjusted to suit. The plumbing and electrical connections themselves need licensed trades.

Can you fix drawers that slam shut?

Yes — that is a failed soft-close mechanism. They can normally be replaced without replacing the whole drawer.

How much does it cost to update a kitchen?

It depends entirely on scope. Handles and hinges across a kitchen is a small job; replacing doors and altering cabinetry is considerably more. You get a written quote before anything starts.
